The Purple Salamander is a species particularly sensitive to habitat disturbances and faces numerous threats. However, some of these threats can be mitigated or even eliminated through targeted actions aimed at restoring its habitat. This document outlines the key steps of a habitat restoration project for the Purple Salamander, illustrated with concrete examples of interventions carried out by NCE in the Stoke Mountains massif.
